FAQ¶
The stuff traders keep asking us. Short answers. Each one links to the full page.
How to read this¶
Grouped by topic. A few lines per answer, then a link to the page with the whole story.
Getting started¶
What is clusterz?¶
A trading terminal that puts you on the same side as the wallets that move tokens. Not underneath them. What tracked wallets and clusters buy and sell shows up as it happens, on one map and one list. You trade the same token from the same page in one click. Eyes on the wallets, not on the KOL's post. See Welcome.
How is clusterz different from other trading terminals?¶
Top traders often split one buy across many wallets. A tracker that follows one wallet at a time sees a pile of small buys, and you think nothing of it. It is one guy.
clusterz links those wallets into a cluster, a group of wallets that trade together. Many small buys read as the one big buy they really are.
Is there a way to practice first?¶
Yes. Every account gets Practice money worth 1,000 USD in SOL. It trades against the live market with the same map and scores as Live. Practice fills include swap and network costs, so the numbers are a fair read. No free wins.
Blew it up? Start over any time under Account > Practice money > Reset, then Reset practice. When your setup works, switch to Live. See Practice and Live.
Your money¶
Does clusterz hold your funds?¶
Not your trading money. Your keys, your bags. A wallet is created for your account when you sign in, your Main wallet, and it is yours. Export its private key any time from Account > Wallets and use it in any Solana wallet app. No identity checks.
One exception, and it is opt-in: the Copy wallet. Our server holds that one so copies and snipes can buy and sell in Live while you sleep. Put in only what you want copies to use, and Move to Main sends it back. See Account and security and Funding your wallet.
How do you add money and take it out?¶
In: send SOL to your Main wallet address from Phantom, Solflare or your exchange. Or use Send from Phantom and do it in one step.
Out: press Withdraw on Portfolio, paste a Solana address and enter the amount. Check You get, Network fee and Balance after, then press Withdraw. You pay only the network fee. See Funding your wallet.
What happens if Live trading pauses?¶
Your SOL stays in your wallet. A banner under the header tells you what is going on.
If our connection to the network drops, Live buys and sells stop until it is back. The wallet is yours, so press Export key on that banner and sell from any other Solana wallet app. If we pause Live trading ourselves, the banner reads "Live trading is paused by clusterz. Nothing trades until it resumes. Your SOL is untouched." Your key is still yours to export from Account > Wallets. See Buying and selling.
Finding and checking tokens¶
How do you find runners early?¶
Open Discover. Trending lists the tokens tracked wallets are buying right now. The Map shows every buy and sell as it lands. Trenches follows new pump.fun launches from creation to graduation. Fresh launches, not last week's calls.
Too much noise? Set Filters to Cluster buys, a minimum number of tracked traders in, or a minimum Alpha score. See Discover and Trenches.
Why is the Map the first thing we open?¶
A chart shows you price. The Map shows you who. Every token is a tile, every tracked trader a face, every buy and sell a line, live. Size is buying right now, and the busiest token sits in the middle.
When a cluster loads up, the tile glows violet and ranks first. Five small buys stop hiding as five small buys. You see the whale before he sees you, and you buy from the card without leaving the map. See The Map.
Can you check a trader before you ape what he bought?¶
Yes. Every tracked trader has a wallet page: the P&L he actually banked, his win rate, what he holds now, what he is already out of, and every wallet in his cluster with the reason it is linked. Hover a face on the Map for his card, then See full profile.
If he already sold, you are the exit. Now you know before you buy. See Wallets.
How do you check for a rug?¶
Check before you ape. Every token tracked wallets or callers are in gets an Alpha score from 1 to 99, with the reasons beside it:
- 65 and up reads Good
- 40 to 64 reads Watch
- under 40 reads Risky
The stuff that rugged us keeps the score low: a mint still on, a token that can be frozen, the top 10 wallets owning half the supply. The safety checks spell it out: Mint authority, Freeze authority, Top 10 share, Dev holds, Dev sold, Dev history and Snipers, plus lines like "Insiders bought at launch" and "Linked wallets own a lot" when they apply.
Turn on Hide risky tokens in Filters and tokens marked Risky drop out of your view. Tokens you hold still show. A good score is not a promise. The score is our analysis, not financial advice. See Alpha score and Token page.
What is the SI read?¶
Our written read of a token, right on its token page. One verdict: Enter, Skip, Exit or Hold. Plus a score, the reasons and an exit plan. The plan is advice only until you choose to put it on your position. See Token page.
Trading¶
Can you copy the best traders?¶
Yes, once you sign in. Buy with them, not after their post. Open Copy Trade. Press Copy on a trader in Top traders, or New copy for a trader, a list or a dev. Set your size, your exits and a Daily loss limit.
They buy, you buy. The position sells by your setup. Copy up to 10 traders and 10 lists at once. Everything you copy sits in My copies. See Copy Trade.
Can it trade while you sleep?¶
Yes. Copies run on the server, so they keep buying and selling while the app is closed. Sniping is a way to copy. Fast and together copies are built to buy in the same block as the traders or clusters you pick. Dev copies buy on launch or on the dev's first buy. Your caps, limits and balance still decide what gets bought.
For your own Live positions, turn on Keep exits running when I close the app in Account. Your take profit and stop loss sell even with no tab open. Go to bed. See Copy Trade and Exits.
How do you lock in profit?¶
Set exits. Don't round-trip a winner.
- Take profit sells at your gain.
- Stop loss sells at your loss.
- Trailing stop follows the high and sells when price drops back by your percent.
- Take-profit steps sell a slice at up to five levels, so you bank gains and let the rest run.
Set a stop loss, trailing stop and take-profit steps once in Trade settings for every new buy. Set a take profit on each position. Or drag the TP and SL lines on the chart. See Exits.
What does it cost?¶
On Live trades our fee is 1% on buys you place yourself and 0.2% on copies and snipes. A sell pays the rate of the position it closes: 1% if the position holds any buy you placed yourself, 0.2% if only copies or snipes opened it.
25% of every fee you pay comes back to your Rewards wallet as cashback, in the same transaction.
You also pay the Solana network fee, your Speed tip if you turn it on, and the venue's own fee. No deposit fee. Withdrawals and claims cost only the network fee. See Fees.
Rewards and more¶
How do referrals pay?¶
Bring your friends. Share your invite link or code. Traders who use it at sign-up, or within a day after, count as yours.
You earn a cut of their fees, after their own cashback:
- 10% with 1 active invitee
- 20% with 5
- 30% with 15
Active means a Live trade in the last two weeks. Paid daily in SOL to your Rewards wallet once you reach 0.01 SOL. Got a following? Creators and communities can apply for a 50% share. See Rewards and referrals.
Does it work on a phone?¶
Yes. The full app works on a phone. A bottom bar for Discover, Ranks, Feed, Portfolio and Rewards (plus Copy once you sign in), and sheets sized for your thumb. Trade from the toilet like everyone else.
Add it to your home screen with Install the app in Account, where your browser can install it. On an iPhone in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. See Using clusterz on your phone.
